All Dressed Up!

Jocelyn in her pretty dresses! The red dress is before church and the blue and pink is before Carrie's bridal shower (Monty's soon to be wife). I'm amazed at both Levon and Jocelyn's patience on these days when mommy is trying to get the perfect picture of Jocelyn all dressed up usually at the moment when we should be walking out the door!






I will usually snap away until Jocelyn is near tears (see photo to the right) and Daddy rescues her by saying, "Okay, that's enough."












For those of you who don't know Big Cat, he has
always claimed to be "scared of babies." But now that Jocelyn has been around for a few months, he acts like an old pro! He has faced his fear and holds Jocelyn almost every time he sees her. I guess he finally realized that he isn't going to break her! Here he is trying to make Jocelyn look cool in his hat!

What a little talker she is! Sometimes she just goes on and on! Such a sweet sounding voice too! A lot of times she talks when she is happy, but sometimes you can really tell that she is complaining!

A lot of women from our church made Jocelyn these special blankets. We love them and we laugh when her little toes poke through the holes!
I have a video of Jocelyn scooting across the floor on her back but it wont upload for some reason.. I'm so mad because it is so cute! I will try again later!

Snowed-in Entertainment!

Jocelyn in her new walker. Only her tiptoes touch the floor right now! She loves it!



Jocelyn's first time out of the infant bath tub! She has never once cried for a bath, not even when she was a newborn! Although she does cry when I take her out and put all of that cold lotion on her!




A special visit from Papaw. I have a feeling Jocelyn will have him wrapped around her little finger too!

Jocelyn discovered that if she arches her back enough, she can escape from the bouncey seat! She is really going to have fun when she can crawl!

Check out this video of Jocelyn having fun in the rocking chair! When you find just the right silly thing to do, it makes Jocelyn laugh so much! Thank you Grandma Gray for the rocking chair pad.. it makes it so much more comfortable!!

Our first blog

I hope no one thinks I'm too big of a dork for making this blog. I just have so many cute pictures and videos of Jocelyn that I always wish I could share them on a regular basis! Here is everyone's favorite picture of Jocelyn lifting weights! I love how you can see her big belly roll! She was being so funny that day..rolling around on the floor and laughing so much.







This is one of my favorite pictures of Jocelyn. She is wearing the outfit our friend Carly gave her.. I think she looks so pretty!







Jocelyn and her Daddy have such a special relationship. She always has a smile for him no matter what kind of mood she is in. Sometimes when she hears his voice in the other room, she will just watch the hallway for the longest time waiting for him to appear! Levon has a hard time listening to her cry..he says it makes him feel like crying when she is upset. I have a feeling he is going to have a hard time telling her NO when she is older!



















One of Jocelyn's favorite things to do is watch her doggies, Reo and Reagan, through the window. She seems to be more interested in them than they are in her.. they usually just give her a sniff and a kiss while passing by, while Jocelyn opens her mouth wide to receive their kisses and kicks her legs in excitement! On very cold days her doggies get to come in and get warm and we can put her in her bouncey seat in front of them and she is occupied for the longest time!
