Dogs, & Kitties & Bears, Oh My!
Levon just got home from his bear hunt in Canada. He reports that it was a trip of a lifetime, but that he missed his girls very much. Eight Days was the longest he'd ever been away from Jocelyn. And they were both feeling it. Jocelyn was very excited to see him when she woke up just a few hours after he got home Sunday morning.
When Daddy was gone, us girls stayed busy shopping for some new winter clothes for Jocelyn, eating dinner over at Aunt Brookes (thank you!!) and going to school and work of course. But the most fun thing we did was adopt a kitty!! We went to the humane society with the intention of getting the cat that was the most easy going with Jocelyn. We truly got the perfect cat for us. She was extremely loving and sweet even after Jocelyn tried to pick her up and was a little too excited. She is a one year old female grey and orange tabby tourtoise shell named Lovey. But we renamed her Lucy. She has adjusted wonderfully at our house and Levon fell in love with her when he got home. I will post pictures of her soon. Levon had the camera on his trip so we are long overdue on Lucy pictures!
As you can see from the pictures below, Levon was successful on his bear hunt. It was his first kill with his bow too, which was exciting for him. Now, come spring, we will be the proud owners of a lovely bear rug (head and all) on our living room floor. I hope Levon realizes that most wives wouldn't necessarily be willing to have one of those as part of their living room decor! And the meat is a whole other story... not sure if I will be trying that!! But, I'm happy for him!

A few shots I stole from other people!

My neice, Grace, right before my good friend Megan chopped her hair for Locks of Love. It is Grace's second time donating!

This is what Jocelyn looks like when she plays over at her cousins' house. She LOVES her two 6 year old boy cousins. I think their style of play has rubbed off on her a bit. Don't you think?!

Here the boys are with Mimi after she gave them their new skateboards.

Joce and her friend, Lily at a birthday party.
