She has been saying some two word phrases, like "apple juice," "please more," "dada nigh nigh"
and even tries to say I Love You, which comes out "I shzaa shzoo."
She has also been singing a TON lately, especially when we are shopping, and of course at the top of her lungs. Good thing the other shoppers smile and think it's cute. Since she's not full blown talking in sentences yet, it comes out kinda mumbled, but you can a lot of times make out the tune. She can sing the first part of the alphabet song, but the rest gets jumbled together. She loves to sing Baa Baa Black Sheep and tells me which names to substitute in to "give the bags of wool to". She'll say, "baa baa, Ella, momma, Reo." and then wait for me to sing it with those names.
It's still baby mania around here. And I'm sure it will be for years to come. I have to admit this thrills me. There's just something special about seeing her "care" for her babies. She walks around bouncing them in her arms, tells them "shhhhh" and puts them to bed. It is so sweet.
Here she is with her 3 latest garage sale babies. Who knew a buck for a junky old baby doll could create so much happiness?
And here she is with the whole crew. She was DELIGHTED when we brought them all out to the living room to play.

Ever since she was a little baby, she has tried to get into my makeup. This day, I let her do her own eye makeup. A little scary.
What a good little mommy.

I will forever love her in pigtails, but I can never get the part straight and the back gets messed up in the carseat and I always have to redo it when I get to the destination.
So, we've been sporting this style lately. I love it because it will grow out her bangs, shows off her sweet baby curls, and doesn't get messed up easily at all!
Jocelyn has been loving her dogs like always. Her favorite thing is to give them treats. She still loves on Reagan the most because she is the one who tolerates her the most (and actually welcomes her snuggles). Reo is MUCH better at tolerating her than he used to be and doesn't get as skittish when she is romping around him. She still calls them both and other dogs "Reo."
Jocelyn has become very much a Daddy's girl in the last few weeks...more and more each day to Levon's delight. Her favorite time to hug on him is when he is trying to take an afternoon nap on the weekends.

Can you believe that she can actually drive her cousins' big gator around the yard now!? She doesn't quite have steering down yet!
We broke out the baby pool the other weekend! It seemed much bigger last year when she was a baby. She still had fun though. Good thing we have friends who have real pools. We are especially excited about getting her in the ocean in just 2 weeks!!!!
