The Joy that is Jocelyn: Busy Busy

I feel like that sums up what our September looks like when I go over the calendar....BUSY! Levon has been very busy with work before this month, but now we have tons of fun activities to look forward to. We have a baby shower, an out of town wedding, two birthday parties for Jocelyn, a rivercamp party, Levon is going out of town 3 out of the 4 weekends for various events, to name a few. Right now Levon is on a house boat with 15 other guys for the long Labor Day weekend and as nice of a time I know he is having relaxing with his friends and not worrying about anything, I know it kills him to be away from Jocelyn that long. He says he misses me a little too :)
I've been enjoying having the windows open so much, it reminds me of the weekends I spent with my Dad when I was little (who is anti-air conditioning). It really does a lot for your spirits to breathe fresh air! I've also taken up running a few weeks ago and I'm really motivated to keep it up. I need the exercise and the feel good endorphins, Joce loves the time in the stroller, and the dogs are in dire need of weight loss too. It's a total win-win situation! Levon is already figuring out where to get a used treadmill for me to use when it is snowy out. He's so good to me. On that note, Levon has bought a road bike and is dedicated to becoming a cyclist! I'm proud of him. Of course, he is still going to stick with his weight lifting, which he loves. I have lots of new pictures in my camera, but I'm waiting for a few more activities to pass before I load them on the computer. So I threw a few older ones on this post. Yesterday, Jocelyn went horseback riding for the first time.. sharing a saddle with her cousin Grace. Of course, she was wearing a helmet and my mom was leading the horse. And of course she loved it. I'll have to get those pictures from my sister's camera asap to share them. Seriously, the child is fearless.
