are the ones like this one...built by my Grandpa for my sister and I when we were little. And just like Jocelyn, we spent more time sitting in the cradle ourselves than we did putting our baby dolls to bed in it.

That's the best, my three year old does this with my laundry baskets! ...not as nostalgic, but still kind of funny.
I was reading your blog and have two similarities to share: our kids also have a "Grandma Florida" and, our annual tradition is to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus on Christmas and have a birthday cake for him as well!

that's right! I had forgotten that...actually, isn't there a picture somewhere of you doing the same thing? and isn't it ironic that jocelyn hated to sleep in her own crib?
