"Opa!" and other new words

Bulleted ListIt is no suprise that over the 6 Christmas celebrations, Jocelyn learned the word open, which came out "opa"! Here are some other new words that she has been saying lately since the last time I listed out her words a of couple months ago.


  • "Gace" (Grace)
  • she tries to say Luke and Anteneh, but they don't come out consistently yet
  • "book" for (Brooke & book)
  • "Meno" (Mitchell)
  • "me-al" (milk)
  • "nur nur" (nurse)
  • "Mi Mi" (the name for my mom)
  • "Ho Ho" (Santa)
  • "pa" (Grandpa)
  • "Reo" (our dog's name)
  • "hello"
  • "night night"
  • "apple"
  • "Ella"
  • "pillow"
  • "butter" for (butterfly and butter)
  • "bite"

ha ha. I don't know Brooke, what did Grace call it at her age? BTW, mom told me the other day you used to call it "nima". So there. :)
